GESCO, Inc. was founded in 1986 by John T. Jasko, a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, who has extensive experience in design and engineering of process tooling for industrial metal working firms.
Located in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, just 25 miles north of Pittsburgh, GESCO, Inc. is able to conveniently provide pick-up, delivery, and inventory maintenance services to industrial customers from Central New York to Detroit, Michigan and West Virginia.
GESCO’s, Inc. experienced team provides the technical assistance needed to help extend tooling life and solve cutting problems.

John T. Jasko
Founder and President of GESCO, Inc.
A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, John has over 50 years of experience in the tool steel industry. His vast knowledge of metallurgy, set-up and application of steel tooling is sought by companies from the Mid-West, Northeast and Southern United States. John provides guidance to customers to increase knife life, to utilize more efficient set-up of tooling and troubleshooting problems. John also assists customers in selecting the best tooling for their operations. John’s areas of expertise are bar mill shear knives, straight shear knives, curve crop knives and slitter tooling. Tom Firm
Plant Manager
Tom has 40 years of experience solving steel tooling problems. Tom works closely with John to provide customers with efficiently reconditioned steel tooling for improved performance and increased knife life. Tom is familiar with all aspects of the repair and reconditioning of steel tooling. Tom and John have developed custom reconditioning processes and equipment for superior results in a cost-effective and timely manner. Tom works with customers to provide immediate service in emergency situations.
Michael Chinchilla
Sales Representative/Customer Relations
Michael has over 28 years of experience in the steel tooling industry and is the point of contact for GESCO, Inc. customers. Michael works closely with customers to determine the best tooling for their applications and designs a program of reconditioning for optimal performance. Michael visits customer’s regularly to monitor customer satisfaction. Michael designs and maintains programs for inventory control and monitoring of all steel tooling for a customer. Customers can contact Michael at any time for additional services or concerns or to request a visit.
Jennifer Chinchilla
CPA – Accounting/Quality Manager
30 years experience at GESCO, Inc. Jennifer maintains GESCO’s, Inc. ISO 9001 Certified Quality Program. She manages and resolves all quality issues to ensure GESCO, Inc. provides exceptional service and quality to GESCO’s, Inc. customers. Jennifer also manages all accounting functions within GESCO, Inc. and works with customers to provide acceptable payment terms.
Michele Gleason
Administrative Assistant
20 years experience at GESCO, Inc. Michele works closely with Michael to schedule pick-ups and deliveries with customers. She monitors the processing and completion of new product orders. Michele also has extensive experience arranging freight with commercial carriers at reasonable rates. Michele works closely with Jennifer in maintaining GESCO’s, Inc. quality program. Customers can contact Michele and she will help them resolve any issues as well as communicating any customer requirements and requests to John and Michael.
